Patrick and Ryan

Happy Monday! Hope everyone had a great weekend! The weather has been nearly perfect. Although not very August-Like. I hope it isn't leading to an early Fall, and then an early Winter. Ug the thought of snow gives me a belly ache!

I'm taking you back to April with this post. I have ZERO idea how I skipped over these guys. This shoot was so fun. The weather was perfect and those faces made it so easy to keep snapping away. I went to High School with their mama so it was also nice to catch up a bit with her.

It took a few minutes for the boys to warm up to me. But I just did my thing and they got used to me being there. I loved their curiosity while throwing rocks in the water. It's the little things when you are a little kid. You can just see the wheels in their heads turning. Love it!

Enjoy!

I hope you all have a great week!

Baby Maverick

Today I am going to introduce you to Maverick. This kid is so much cooler than I will ever be, even in his first 10 days of being alive. His Mom used to work with my sister as a Hair Stylist and can pull off pink, purple and blue hair like no one I have ever known.  Their house was awesome and the nursery was great. I'm a big fan of unpredictable design elements so when I saw that the clock in the nursery was a rim from a car, I swooned. The kid's name is Maverick. Come on. Automatic ticket into the Cool Kid Club.

I had so much fun with this shoot. The lighting was perfect and once Maverick fell sound asleep, he stayed asleep and didn't move.

Mom and Dad are a big fan of Black and White (as am I) so I was really excited when I started editing. Sometimes Black and White add so much more drama. Not that a baby shoot needs drama, but you know what I mean. :-)

Love the little Faux Hawk!

Thanks for checking out Baby Maverick!

Tuohy Family

Hi All! It has been quite a while since I have posted about a job that I have. I have done a bunch in since the summer has begun so stay tuned! Charley-Bird doesn't give me that much free time.  Anyways, meet the Tuohy Family! They are such a cute family. Two boys (twins!), and two girls and they all seemed to get along great. At least while they were with me.  We started off on a great start. All of them were ready to go as soon as we met up.

They requested that we meet at the Milton Cemetery. At first I was a bit hesitant because it was a cemetery, but then the more I though about how beautiful and serene they can be, I was extremely optimistic. And ohhhh did it deliver. That place is going in the stock pile of great local places. It has a pond (with ducks that the kids loved), beautiful landscaping and many different places that the kids wanted to utilize. I always like it when the kids pick out different things to do. They are more likely to give you a genuine smile because they think it is their idea.

Here are some of my favorites!

Gotta love Daddy and his Girls

It's supposed to be a scortchahhh today so stay cool!

Sorry, that was cheesy, but its early and I haven't finished my coffee yet :-)

The theme for today was {faceless}. This was taken right before Hubby put our girl to sleep. Love it.

Almost Rolling Over!

As I mentioned in my Project 365 (that I have been MAJORLY slacking on), Charley has started to roll over. Although I have yet to see it. Daddy got to witness that one this weekend. I have tried with her every day but nada! She will get there some day for me. And I am enjoying every part of watching her try.

Alllllmost there!

The drool never stops!

ANNNNND I'm spent :-)

Nana Foley has given us all kinds of stuffed animals before and after Charley arrived. She is still too little to know which ones she likes but I wanted to do something fun with them.

Find the baby!

I'm a mean Mama for including this one. But meltdowns are part of motherhood. And thankfully, this mama can calm her babe down in a quickness and it's back to work!

I know I always do a close up of her face but her eyes are too pretty not to! Who knows if she will always be this good with a camera in her face. I am taking full advantage of it while I can.

Tomorrow is HUMP DAY! Enjoy the rest of your week!

This was a really long week for my dad so it made his night to snuggle with Birdie, even if it was for 5 minutes.

A Little Bunny Reading

So Charley Bird's room is FINALLY finished. Tonight Hubby put the crib together, so that meant today there was plenty of space for us to have a quick little photo shoot. The best shoots always happen when I don't plan to do one. I just kind of grabbed a bunch of stuff and shut the dog out and ran with it. She is the best. I really can't stand it. Here are my favorites. Enjoy!

Some friends sent her this pillow. How adorable? And we painted her room a really light purple so it matches perfectly.

My FAVORITE from today --

Hey Bunny! You want to be my friend?

She was getting annoyed with the ears, but was still being really cute so I ran with what I had in the room. We had a Bring A Book Baby Shower and she has so many great books. She is just starting to want to grab at things too. I love these ones.

You can see this one is from Brayden. He will be her BFF in a few years. Brayden already thinks he is. :-)

I hope you guys enjoy my Charley. God knows I can't get enough of her.
